🏖 Kategora Oceanika, the largest hotel building made of wood in southern Europe, opens in March in Torremolinos, Málaga, operated by Kora Living as Kora Olea. With an investment over €40 million, it features 180 apartments and 10,000 m² of space. Constructed using 3,500 m³ of sustainable wood, it retains 3,500 tons of CO₂. The project integrates energy-efficient systems, earning a BREEAM “Very Good” rating and offers extensive common areas and services.

🏨 B&B Hotels opens its 16th hotel in Madrid, reaching a total of 64 in Spain and 19 in Portugal. Located in Vallecas, the B&B Hotel Madrid Vallecas La Gavia offers 159 rooms with "Smart Simplicity" design. Amenities include free high-speed Wi-Fi, 24-hour coffee and tea, and a pet-friendly policy. Promoted by Avintia Inmobiliaria, the hotel construction uses Ávita's industrialized system for efficiency and sustainability. The opening features an exclusive offer for B&me members with stays starting at €50.

🏨 deLuna Hotels, en febrero de 2026, Granada, abrió el Boutique Hotel Luna Triunfo en Plaza del Triunfo. Este hotel boutique de cuatro estrellas ofrece 46 habitaciones y es parte de su expansión urbana. El proyecto incluye remodelación integral, hall & lounge, gastrobar, gimnasio, salas de reuniones y parking. Es el quinto hotel del grupo en Granada. La expansión sostenible se alinea con los planes del grupo en Andalucía, incluyendo futuros desarrollos en Cádiz, Sevilla y Motril.

🏖 Canarian Hospitality, February 2026, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote: Launch of luxury resort construction, their third project on the island. The 5-star complex, developed by Grupo Acosta Matos and Canarian investors, will have 97 suites. Francisco Fernández, CEO, emphasizes strategic value creation. Partnering with Radisson Hotel Group, the resort's construction begins this February, with a 24-month completion timeline, aiming for operation by spring 2028.

🏨 Aena has received five bids from four companies for two hotels at Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona-El Prat airports. In Madrid, Barceló, Belagua, Grupo Lar (with Westmont Hospitality), and Momentum (with Hyatt) submitted offers. Momentum is the sole bidder for Barcelona. Hotels will have at least 300 rooms, a four-star rating, and are estimated to cost €150 million. Aena will earn an annual fee beginning at €1.35 million or 10% of net sales, with a 75-year land right.
