🛫 British Airways, part of IAG, is forced to cancel and reschedule long-haul flights due to ongoing issues with Boeing 787's Rolls-Royce engines and parts, leaving 15% of the fleet grounded. Services to Malaysia are postponed, with reduced operations to Qatar and New York. Aena's airport network, including 46 Spanish airports, London-Luton, and 17 in Brazil, saw a record 34,832,652 passengers in September 2024, a 7% increase from September 2023, and 292,139 aircraft movements, up by 5.8%. From January to September 2024, the traffic reached 282.720.476 passengers, an 8.9% rise, with 2,440,496 flights, a 7.3% increase. Seventeen Spanish airports also set records.
