Madrid priorizará la gestión turística en 2025 tras un nuevo año récord

Madrid's Deputy Tourism Councillor Almudena Maíllo presented a new strategy focusing on year-round tourism, decentralization, innovation, and experiential tourism. Key initiatives include digital ecosystem development, carbon footprint compensation, and the "Madrid Unique Destination" luxury tourism project with 52 partners.

Recuperan un edificio abandonado de Granada para apartamentos turísticos

The brand operates nine establishments in Madrid, Sevilla, and Granada. The refurbished building features original elements like hydraulic tiles and wood joinery, emulating a boutique hotel with a homey feel. Sustainability efforts include 90% waste management and energy-saving technologies like presence detectors and regional intensity regulators. Arvo Arquitectura handled architecture and licensing, with construction by Argonsa and interior design by Cotta Studio.

Cómo evoluciona el gasto de los turistas en Canarias

🏖️ Canarias welcomed nearly 18 million tourists in 2024, who spent €24 billion, including domestic tourism. This was an increase of €2 billion from the previous year. The average tourist spending rose by 26% since 2019 to €1,416. Flight prices increased by 20%, yet represented 28% of total tourist spending, with 42% on accommodations. The British market thrived, with significant growth in Italian (68%) and French (55.7%) tourism. The domestic market nearly reached 2 million visitors in 2024, with a 12.7% increase in winter air connectivity compared to the previous year and a predicted 6.1% increase for the summer.

Palladium se rinde al lujo y lleva una nueva marca a Ibiza

🏨 Palladium Hotel Group will launch a new luxury brand, The Unexpected Hotels, this summer in Ibiza by transforming part of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. The Ushuaïa Tower will be remodeled into The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel with 181 renovated rooms. The Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel will continue operating with 234 rooms. Last April, Palladium presented The Unexpected Al Marjan Island Hotel & Residences in the UAE, a $100+ million project with 422 rooms. The brand will debut in Ibiza in 2025 and in Al Marjan Island in 2026.

Grupo Barceló supera los 6.500 M€ de facturación en 2024
