Vera Sevilla: un proyecto de 250 M € que incluye un hotel de lujo

🏠 KKH Property Investors will transform Sevilla's former Fábrica de Tabacos into a combined work and leisure space named Vera Sevilla after investing over €250 million. Completion is expected by Fall 2026, featuring a luxury hotel, tertiary and commercial spaces, cultural facilities, neighborhood amenities, and a five-hectare urban park with a 300-meter riverside walk. The Vera building will be a multifunctional space over 12,000 square meters, with additional office and commercial areas exceeding 9,000 square meters. The hotel will include 210 spacious rooms and suites, restaurants, a gym, a pool, and a 600 square-meter event room. The purchase of the factory was completed in 2023, with the first phases of construction slated to finish by late 2025, and the entire project by the second half of 2026, designed by Carlos Ferrater and Kengo Kuma.

deLuna inicia las obras de su hotel en el Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla  

🏨 deLuna Hotels announced the start of construction for Gran Hotel Luna de Cádiz at Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla, set to open in December 2025. The 4-star hotel will have 240 rooms, exclusive spaces, spa, gym, pools, and a buffet. Architect Jose Antonio Albarrán Bailén designed the 17,484.20 m² project, with a 15-month construction timeframe. A public tender by Cádiz's council in 2022 allowed deLuna Hotels to acquire part of the stadium for €25 million. The hotel chain, expanding beyond Granada for the first time, has partnered with the Instituto de Fomento, Empleo y Formación (IFEF) for a training program, guaranteeing jobs for at least 65% of its 45 participants, equating to 29 full-time permanent positions.

Escalada bélica en Oriente Medio: suben las reservas en España

Los hoteles del Imserso disponibles en la costa insular

🏖 Imserso's Social Tourism program for the 2024-2025 season has expanded its hotel offerings to 203 establishments. Commercialization started on September 23, 2024, with a reservation system based on accreditation letters sent since August 28, 2024. The program features 55 hotels across the Canary and Balearic Islands—30 in Canarias and 25 in Baleares. There are 55 hotels in Catalonia, 48 in the Valencian Community, 38 in Andalusia, and 7 in the Region of Murcia available for senior tourists. Reservations are time-gated, beginning at 09:00 on the date specified on the accreditation letter, catering first to preferential acreditados.

CDB Aviation Lease Finance adquirirá 50 Boeing 737 MAX-8, entregas entre 2028-2031. Imserso venderá 886,269 plazas en 203 hoteles para la temporada 2024-2025, un aumento del 5% en establecimientos, ventas inician el 23 de septiembre.

Hoteles de 5 comunidades superan la media de ingresos de agosto

🏨 In August, Spanish hotels set a record with 47.8 million overnight stays, a 2.6% increase from the same month in 2023. Non-residents boosted stays by 4.9%, despite a 1.3% drop from residents. From January to August, stays grew by 5.6% year-on-year. Top destinations included Andalucía (23.1% of resident stays), Catalonia, and the Valencian Community for residents, while non-residents preferred the Balearic Islands (34.1%), Catalonia, and the Canary Islands. Mallorca led with over 8.5 million overnight stays. Hotel occupancy rose by 1.9% to 76%, with the Balearic Islands reaching 89.9%. Average Daily Rate (ADR) was €146.9, up 7.3%, and Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR) increased by 8.6% to €117.4.

Viajes del Imserso: por qué es importante reservar esta semana

Los ingresos de Casual Hoteles aumentan un 7,2% este verano

🏨 Casual Hoteles, from June to August, increased income by 7.2% compared to summer 2023, earning €8.6 million with a 94.8% occupancy rate. RevPAR grew to €111.24, a 6.91% rise over last year's €104.05. International guests accounted for 73.78% of stays, while the Spanish market slightly declined by 0.56%. The top five nationalities were Spaniards, Italians (14.43%, up 9.93%), French (6.85%), British (5.45%), and Americans (5.26%). The hotel chain, with 25 properties (881 rooms) in 13 cities, plans expansions into Ibiza and Naples in 2025.
