La temporada del Imserso comienza con la venta de plazas en Madrid

Cambio climático: ¿desplazará el turismo del sur al norte?

Climate change challenges Spain's tourism sector, which contributes 11.6% to the GDP and accounted for 9.3% of total employment in 2022. Urban areas seem unaffected, while coastal zones, especially the Mediterranean and islands, are most sensitive to climate impacts. A zero net emissions scenario forecasts a minimal 0.3% demand decrease by 2100. In a low to moderate CO2 emissions future, resembling a 2.8 ºC temperature increase, a small net tourism reduction of 0.6% is expected, with notable provincial differences, potentially benefiting northern provinces like Asturias, predicted to see nearly a 7% increase in tourism demand.

El Camino de Santiago apuesta por un modelo de turismo regenerativo

Kampaoh lanza un vehículo de inversión para comprar activos de naturaleza

By the end of 2024, the company aims for 4,500 accommodations across 92 locations in Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal. After a funding round of €8 million led by JME and Eutopia VC and an additional €14 million capital in January 2023, Kampaoh recorded €23 million in revenue for 2023 and closed summer 2024 with €32 million in income.
