The ordinance aims to curb illegal rentals and urban congestion. The plan, requiring council approval, will prevent new licenses and facilitate gradual reduction by not renewing temporary permits. Escarrer advocates quality over quantity for sustainable tourism growth and improving residential rental access.

✈️ European airlines, including IATA and Airlines 4 Europe, and ACI Europe, warned EU Commissioner Magnus Brunner of potential summer border chaos due to the SES passport control system. This system is causing airport delays, with predicted wait times exceeding four hours during peak travel. Since April 10, 100% of passengers require the SES registration, previously affecting only 35%.
