Hoteles y ocio tiran del consumo en junio, por encima del promedio nacional
💸 Spaniards' spending on hospitality and leisure rose by 4.7% year-on-year in June, per CaixaBank card data, exceeding the national consumption increase of 3.6%. Foreign tourists' spending surged 12%. Hotel spending saw the highest growth at 13%. In the second quarter of 2025, consumption in Spain grew by 4.3% year-on-year, driven by Easter, with e-commerce increasing by 12%. Despite high levels, tourism inflation in Spain shows signs of moderating, with related prices rising an average of 5.2% between January and May.
