🏨 Marriott International expects to add over 9,000 rooms to its portfolio by end of the year through a long-term licensing agreement with Sonder Holdings, with approximately 1,500 more rooms anticipated later. The agreement foresees Sonder's mainly urban, apartment-style accommodations joining Marriott under the new "Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy" collection, aiming for a net room growth of 6% to 6.5% for the full year 2024. Members of Marriott Bonvoy should be able to earn and redeem points at about 200 Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy properties starting late this year.
