🏨 Lopesan Hotel Group plans significant expansion by 2026. In Spain and the Caribbean, €550 million will be invested in a new macro-complex in Punta Cana and the renovation of Hotel Miguel Ángel in Madrid. The Madrid hotel, acquired for €200 million and undergoing a €50 million revamp, aims to be the city's top luxury venue.

🏖 Bluesea Hotels expands in Spain, adding Bluesea Aloe Corralejo in Fuerteventura (181 apartments) and Bluesea Costa Serena in Torremolinos. The company acquired 15 hotels, primarily Labranda Hotels & Resorts, consolidating its presence in the Canary Islands. Bluesea aims for revenue over €225 million by 2026, with further expansion planned in the Balearic Islands and Iberian Peninsula. 🏨 Ayuntamiento de Madrid, 2024, Casa Palazuelo, Madrid — Approved a special plan to convert the Casa Palazuelo, a 1919 architectural work by Antonio Palacios, into a hotel. Lutuenas S.L.U. leads the project, owning 67% of the building. The Casa Palazuelo, 7,544 m² with 5,052 m² above ground, will preserve its cultural heritage status. Public consultation starts after initial approval, aiming for economic and cultural revitalization.

🏖 Meliá Hotels International inaugurates the Palma Avenida hotel on Friday, situated in central Palma, opposite Plaza de España. The hotel features 68 rooms and event spaces for up to 80 people. Originally a cinema, the building was renovated in 2009 by architect Bruno Borrione. Meliá aims to enhance Palma's urban tourism through its Innside by Meliá brand. 🏨 Summum Hotel Group expands in Mallorca with three new establishments: Hotel Playa Mondragó in Santanyí with 49 rooms, Apartsuites La Ribera Playa de Palma with 24 premium apartments, and Finca Hotel Son Mas featuring 23 Junior Suites. These additions bring their total to 18 establishments, enhancing their offerings in luxury and flexible tourism. 🛢 Meliá Hotels International is expanding in the Middle East, with its first hotel in Bahrain on Amwaj Island, set to open in 2027. The development will feature 256 units, including 150 hotel rooms and 106 branded residences. Developed by Infracorp, it will include five pools, dining and retail areas, wellness spaces, and event venues. Located 15 minutes from Bahrain International Airport, the hotel aims to strengthen Meliá's regional presence.
