🏨 Meliá Hotels International plans to expand in Saudi Arabia, adding at least 1,000 rooms per an agreement with the Tourism Development Fund (TDF) during the 2025 Tourise event in Riyadh. 🏨 Faranda Hotels & Resorts is expanding in Latin America with two strategic hotel openings in Costa Rica and Colombia. By 2030, the group aims to reach 100 hotels. In Costa Rica, the Four Points by Sheraton Alajuela, San José, with 130 rooms, opens year-end near Juan Santamaría International Airport. In Colombia, the Casa Bianca by Faranda Boutique opens in Cartagena’s historic center, featuring 14 luxury rooms, bringing Faranda’s total in Cartagena to 8 hotels with 526 rooms.

🏨 Spirit Hotels&Apartments, part of Spirit Group with over 35 years of history, officially launched from Bilbao, expanding to Valladolid, Benalmádena, and Monte Real, Portugal. Spirit Hospitality Global Business, their new consultancy, emerged during the pandemic to aid independent hotels with management, marketing, and digital transformation. CEO Jorge Álvarez leads the brand, emphasizing a people-centric approach with sustainability and collaboration at its core, and plans for further national and international expansion.

🌴 H10 Hotels expands its Caribbean presence with the new Ocean Signature Caribbean Resorts brand, focusing on premium all-inclusive service. Ocean Allure Signature Adults Only Resorts will debut in Mexico with the Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres opening in December 2025. Located near Cancun, it offers a premium adult-exclusive experience. The resort emphasizes wellness, gastronomy, and entertainment, featuring advanced Despacio Spa Centres, VIP services, and international cuisine.

🏨 Meliá Hotels International will open the Hotel Cusco La Paccha Affiliated by Meliá in Cusco, Peru on January 1, 2026. Located 10 minutes from Plaza de Armas, the hotel will feature 167 rooms, a restaurant, bar, spa, and event space. Carolina Morillas represents the property's ownership. In 2025, Meliá added 10 new projects in Latin America. This will be their fourth hotel in Peru, reinforcing their presence in the Lima-Cusco tourist circuit.
