Los hoteles independientes pagan mejor salario que las cadenas: un 7% más

El Imserso se plantea ampliar el programa de termalismo a otros países

Hesperia factura 190 millones € tras subir precios un 19%

💸 Grupo Inversor Hesperia (GIHSA) reported a 15% increase in sales for 2024, reaching €190 million, driven by an average price rise of 19% after revamping several hotels. For 2025, sales are projected to exceed €200 million, up 5%. Las pernoctaciones en hoteles de España crecieron casi un 5% en 2024

🏨 Hotel stays in Spain hit 363.6 million in 2024, up 4.9% from 2023. Resident stays grew by 0.2% and non-resident stays by 7.5%. Andalusia, Catalonia, and the Valencian Community were the top destinations for Spanish residents, while Canaries, with a 5.0% increase in foreign stays, was the top for non-residents. Mallorca led with 49.5 million stays. Average hotel occupancy reached 61.4%, up 2.2% from 2023. UK and German travelers accounted for 42.6% of international stays. Hotel Price Index rose 7.0%, while average daily rate (ADR) hit €121.5 and revenue per available room (RevPAR) €84.6 in 2024.

Una cadena europea con 6.000 llaves pone el foco en España para crecer

🏨 Staycity, headquartered in Dublin with a total of 6,000 keys, aims to enter the Spanish market as part of its expansion strategy to reach 20,000 units in the next eight years. Founded in 2004, the aparthotel chain operates 35 establishments across France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and the UK, under two brands: Staycity and premium aparthotel brand Wilde, launched in 2017. Recent acquisitions include a 74.9% stake in Munich-based Grupo Felix, expanding into Leipzig, Dresden, and Vienna. Staycity opened its fourth Wilde brand establishment in September, the 106-room Wilde London Liverpool Street. In 2023, Staycity plans to open new aparthotels in Amsterdam and Cambridge, as well as Wilde properties in Lisbon and Porto, aiming for over 15,000 rooms by 2028. Investors include LaSalle, Union Investment, and Knight Frank Investment Management, with over €3 billion in Spanish hotel sector transactions reported last year.

Limehome se hace cargo de un edificio renovado en pleno Chamartín
