Expedia Group ya puede vender los vuelos de Ryanair

✈ Expedia Group will now offer Ryanair flights, following recent collaborations between the Irish low-cost airline and various online travel agencies (OTAs). Expedia customers can book Ryanair flights as part of holiday packages or standalone reservations, gaining direct access to their myRyanair account and flight updates. The partnership, expanding the ways customers can benefit from the collaboration, includes "Ryanair Rooms" from earlier this year, allowing seamless hotel bookings. Ryanair flights will soon be directly available on Expedia Group’s marketplace. Marketing Director of Ryanair, Dara Brady, and Senior Vice President of Expedia Group’s Travel Partnerships, Susan Spinney, have expressed enthusiasm for the initiative.

Los viajeros afectados por la quiebra de FTI serán indemnizados en otoño

Notably, Canary Islands, Madrid, and Andalusia saw the highest job increases. David Doral, CEO of Dovetail Electric Aviation, revealed Spain's first hydrogen-powered electric aviation power plant, aiming for commercial flights with passengers by 2026, seeking an additional €5 million in capital.

Más de 137.700 trabajadores se incorporaron al sector turístico en junio

🏖️ In June, the Spanish tourism sector added 137,706 new workers, surpassing 2.9 million employees, a 5% increase from June 2023, representing 13.6% of the country's total workforce. Hospitality saw 79,258 new affiliates, travel agencies 4,663 more, and other tourism activities increased by 53,785. Employment in agencies and tour operators rose by 6.9%, while hospitality grew by 5.1%. Autonomous employment, 17.5% of the sector, grew by 1.5%. Canarias (6.1%), Madrid (5.8%), and Andalucía (5.2%) led regional growth, with Andalucía adding 17,792 affiliates, Madrid 13,300, Catalonia 11,068, and Canarias 9,657.

Limehome desembarcará en Navarra en el verano del 2025

Los cinco Paradores de Canarias recibirán 9 M€ para renovarse

🏡 Raquel Sánchez, presidenta de Paradores, announced a €9 million investment for improvements in Canary Islands' Paradores located in La Palma, Cañadas del Teide, Cruz de Tejeda, El Hierro, and La Gomera. In the first half of 2024, these establishments welcomed over 24,000 guests with a 75% occupancy rate. Funding comes from Paradores' investment, Turespaña, and the Spanish Government's Recovery Plan. The Parador de El Hierro will receive the highest amount of €3.924 million for total reconstruction, followed by La Palma with €2.884 million for extensive refurbishing. La Gomera, Las Cañadas del Teide, and Cruz de Tejeda will get €1.879 million, €411,000, and €98,000 respectively. Foreign tourists made up 48% of the clientele, an 8% increase from the previous year, and restaurants served 50,000 covers, up 5%.

Soltour refuerza su estrategia de producto regional con nuevas rutas

✈️ Soltour connects 20+ Spanish cities with 12 destinations in Europe and the Caribbean this summer. The company introduces direct flights from Porto to the Region of Murcia and Almería, with operations from July 16 to September 11 to Murcia, and until September 19 to Almería.
