easyHotel abrirá su segundo hotel en Madrid en 2025  

🛫 easyHotel to open its second hotel in Madrid, expected in the spring of 2025, located in the San Blas-Canillejas district with 94 rooms, a breakfast restaurant, an outdoor terrace, and parking for 30 vehicles, including electric chargers. The construction transforms an old office block, creating 11 jobs. Redentum Partners developed the project, with Colliers advising. Part of the investment comes from a €23 million capital commitment by Ivanhoe Cambridge and ICAMAP, released at the milestone of 49 hotels. The hotel incorporates sustainability with low-carbon rooms, recycled materials, a complete energy infrastructure renovation, an aerothermal hot water system, solar panels, and a battery management system. Karim Malak, CEO of easyHotel, emphasizes the importance of the Spanish market, with plans for expansion in Alicante, Valencia, and Barcelona Meridiana.

Los activos hoteleros se revalorizan más de un 4% en el primer semestre

🏨 In the first six months, real estate investment exceeded €5.5 billion, with the hotel sector accounting for 25% (over €1.3 billion) and ranking in the top 3 for investor interest. Hotel and residential assets were the only ones to appreciate during this period, according to CBRE data. CBRE predicts the total investment by the end of 2024 will reach €12.5 billion, with greater activity in the latter half of the year. Hotel assets appreciated on average by 4.25%, with holiday hotels up by 4.5% and urban hotels by 4%.

Minor Hotels lleva la marca NH Collection a Tailandia

🏨 Minor Hotels will rebrand Peace Resort Samui to NH Collection Samui, marking NH Collection's entry into Thailand. Starting January 1, 2025, the property will undergo refurbishment and begin operations as NH Collection Samui. Located at Bophut Beach in Koh Samui, the 122-room resort was established by the Pupaiboon family in 1977. NH Collection Samui will offer luxury accommodations, including bungalows and villas with private pools and direct beach access. Facilities include a gym, water sports center, children's services, event spaces, and a vision to develop independent villas for the luxury holiday home market.
