July also saw a slight dip of 1.2% in international flight prices from last year, but an 8% increase overall this year.

El inversor español se hace fuerte en Barcelona y se consolida el lujo

Other notable sales were the Hampton by Hilton Barcelona at €50 million and Hotel Ciutat Barcelona for €29 million. Azora purchased Jacobs Inn in Barcelona and another property in Dublin for €55 million, while Bestprice Hoteles acquired Bestprice Barcelona Stadium for €1.5 million. Spanish investors represented 38% of the market share, followed by UK investors at 21%, with 'prime' hotel yields stable at 5.25% in Barcelona.

Sallent de Gállego, Aragón, follows with 51.8 tourists per resident and 75,675 total arrivals, 42,456 domestic. Peñíscola, with its medieval castle and beaches, sees 51.6 tourists per resident, totaling 383,548 yearly visitors. Naut Aran and Salou are also notable, with 49.4 and millions of tourists respectively. Top saturated destinations include Mallorca, Huesca, Castellón, Lérida, Tarragona, Las Palmas, Teruel, and others.

TUI repunta sus ingresos un 9% en el tercer trimestre, hasta 5.800 M €

💰 TUI Group, Europe's largest tourism group, reported a 9% revenue increase to €5.8 billion in Q3, marking an eighth consecutive month of double-digit underlying EBIT growth, reaching €232 million, a 37% improvement. The group served 5.8 million travelers, with Hotels & Resorts achieving an underlying EBIT of €131 million, up 16% and occupancy at 80%. Cruise segment witnessed a rise in underlying EBIT to €91 million due to increased occupancy (98%) and 7% higher average rates (€235). TUI Musement's underlying EBIT grew to €19 million, with 2.8 million experiences sold. Overall, the company has doubled the underlying EBIT to €16 million within its Markets and Airlines segment and is expanding its product portfolio into Asian and American markets.
