El Ayuntamiento invertirá 21 M € en reposicionar Playa de Palma

IHG y El Corte Inglés ultiman un acuerdo para abrir un Kimpton en Madrid

🏨 The American hotel group plans to open a five-star establishment under the Kimpton brand, owned by El Corte Inglés, situated at Calle Goya in Madrid's upscale commercial area. The building at the corner of Goya and Conde de Peñalver gained its hotel license in May 2022 after municipal approval to merge two plots into one. The hotel transformation will involve properties at Goya, 89 and Conde de Peñalver, 3, within Salamanca district's Plan Especial de Hospedaje (PEH) zone 2. The future hotel will feature around 110 rooms, pools, a gym, and maintain commercial tertiary use on the ground and first floors. Due to level 3 protection status, facades, portals, and interior staircases must be restored.

Reconocimiento de TUI a Carmen Riu por su trayectoria profesional

🏨 TUI Group celebrated the TUI Global Hotel Awards 2025 in Berlin, awarding 18 hotels based on over 20 million customer evaluations. Four Spanish hotels won: Riu Gran Canaria (Best Megaresort), H10 Casa de la Plata in Sevilla (Best Urban Hotel), Grupotel Parc Natural & Spa in Mallorca (Best Hotel in Spain, Portugal and West Africa), and Club Lookéa Maspalomas (Best TUI Hotel for the French Market). Lindos Blu Luxury Hotel & Suites on Rhodes was named the "Best Hotel in the World" for the fourth year. Other categories included hotels favored by the Nordic countries, the UK and Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, and the Czech Republic, along with awards for new hotels, sustainability, and the TUI Foundation. Carmen Riu was honored for her professional trajectory.

Las agencias de viajes aportan cerca del 3% al PIB de Canarias

Barcelona asesorará a comunidades de vecinos para frenar pisos turísticos

🏠 Barcelona's City Council, led by Jaume Collboni, partners with the College of Property Administrators and the Urban Property Chamber to advise communities on preventing tourist apartments from being set up in their buildings. El 63% de las mujeres en turismo cree que el género ha frenado su carrera

The Turijobs survey, involving over 700 professionals including 13% management, 24% middle management, and 57% operational positions, shows 67% of women and 49% of men have witnessed/experienced sexism at work. Optimismo en las agencias alemanas para ITB y con su primer destino, España
