Top 15 de marcas hoteleras más reconocidas: 9 nacionales vs 6 extranjeras

🏨 Nine Spanish hotel chains are in the top 15 for spontaneous brand awareness in Spain, while six are foreign, according to Simon-Kucher, which surveyed over 7,000 people across eight countries. Meliá Hotels International leads with 51% spontaneous awareness, followed by NH Hoteles at 49%, and the American chain Hilton in third despite fewer hotels than Marriott. Barceló, Riu, and Iberostar are in the top 10, while Accor Hotels ranks 11th, boosted by its umbrella brand and loyalty program (ALL). Paradores, with nearly 100 establishments, is last in the list.

Olala Homes avanza en su expansión hotelera con una compra en Portugal

🏡 São Felix Hotel, a 4-star property with 46 sea-view rooms, five event rooms, an elevated outdoor pool, and a restaurant, was acquired by Olala Homes as part of their expansion plan. CEO Ittai Savran announced the acquisition, highlighting the hotel's fit with the growth strategy and its offer of high-quality accommodation in a prime Iberian Peninsula location. Olala Homes, founded in Barcelona in 2014, entered hotel management last summer, adding a 50-room hotel in Lloret de Mar and a 25-room property in Salamanca to its portfolio.

Turkish Airlines seguirá creciendo en España y estudia nuevas rutas

Los viajes del Imserso sufren “una severa crisis de calidad”

W2M's bed bank accounts for 40% of its business; its tour operation divisions, Newblue and Icárion, aim to establish in the region.
