🏨 Petit Palace Hoteles, part of Hotelatelier, won the Best Talent Management award at the TH Awards 2025 on June 19 in Madrid's Inhala Hotel Garden. Over 130 industry professionals attended. 🏨 Hotelatelier invested over €1,400,000 to renovate its hotel in Chueca, Madrid, enhancing energy efficiency and redesigning spaces. Led by Ana Guasp, the project aims to blend functionality and emotion, fostering a connection with the urban environment. The Petit Palace Chueca now features the Honjok concept for solo travelers seeking autonomy and personal experiences. The renovation was supported by HT Interiorismo and HTerrats, aligning with sustainable standards.

💻 En VP Hoteles, desde hace casi dos años, se ha implementado un cambio completo en los sistemas PMS y POS, y se ha creado un departamento de Innovación Tecnológica. Se han integrado herramientas como Copilot, ChatGPT, y Gemini, y se desarrollan automatizaciones con RPA. Todos los jueves están destinados a esta transformación. El objetivo en un año es mejorar los procesos con IA avanzada. Se centra en ética, seguridad y sostenibilidad, como refleja la certificación LEED del VP Plaza España.

🏠 Meliá Hotels International and Infotep will open a Hospitality and Tourism Training School in the Dominican Republic by autumn 2025. The hotel-school aims to address the workforce needs of the tourism sector. Training covers culinary arts, bar service, reception, room maintenance, English, and digital skills. 📚 Hosteltur Academy, 2025, online. A free 2.5-hour course for hotel professionals on calculating and reducing carbon footprints. Funded by Next Generation EU Funds, it offers practical tools for emission calculation and decarbonization plans. Six modules, including case studies and testimonies, help design action plans. Led by Clara Cano and Mar Muñoz, experts in hotel sustainability. Available through Hosteltur Academy for enhancing sustainability strategies in the tourism sector.

Roberto García emphasizes the sustainable model of Castilla Termal, employing over 500 people. 💰 El Departamento de Empresa y Trabajo ofrece más de 11.5 millones de euros en ayudas a alojamientos turísticos de Cataluña para mejorar el ahorro energético y fomentar la economía circular. Las solicitudes están abiertas hasta el 31 de julio. Las ayudas cubren entre 25% y 70% de los costes, con un plazo de ejecución de 6 meses. Desde 2022, se han destinado más de 44.2 millones de euros en tres convocatorias financiadas por los Fondos Next Generation.

Baleares mantiene 46 distintivos: Mallorca recibe 32, Ibiza 9, y Menorca 5. No repiten Cala Santanyí y Cala Major en Mallorca, y Cala Galdana en Menorca. La bandera azul garantiza excelencia en gestión ambiental, seguridad y calidad del agua.
