Dónde están los alojamientos más accesibles en España
🏨 Comunidad Valenciana, País Vasco, Cantabria, and Galicia lead accessible accommodation offerings in Spain, with Extremadura topping the list at 10.1% of total lodging options. The study by Mabrian Technologies, presented at the IV Congreso TUR4All in Valencia, highlights the challenge of accessibility in tourism. Satisfaction is generally higher in physically accessible accommodations, with differences of up to 11.7 points on a 100-point scale. Accessible accommodations tend to have higher prices, with several regions offering rates under €100 per night, while Extremadura and Cantabria exceed that threshold, and Andalucía and Comunidad Valenciana surpass €120. Spain's public transport accessibility scored 78.8 out of 100 in 2024, while tourist attractions scored 73.4. The study analyzed physical accessibility based on DALCO criteria, with at least 30% compliance for hotels and 20% for tourist rentals.
