🏨 Las 10 grandes cadenas hoteleras del mundo poseen alrededor de 77,500 establecimientos y 8.2 millones de habitaciones según Hotels Magazine. Marriott International encabeza la lista con 1.56 millones de habitaciones en 8,566 hoteles. Cuatro cadenas hoteleras españolas figuran en el top 100 global, sumando 4,517 hoteles y 549,086 habitaciones. Los hoteles afectados por prácticas abusivas de Booking.com, sancionada por la CNMC con 413.2 millones de euros, podrán reclamar indemnizaciones tras confirmación judicial. Palma de Mallorca es el destino español preferido por los turistas alemanes para el verano de 2024, seguido por Barcelona, Alicante y Tenerife.

Tanzania: fallecen dos turistas españolas en un accidente

💀 Dos turistas españolas, madre e hija, fallecieron en Tanzania el domingo tras un accidente de vehículo que cayó 600 metros en la pista de Ngorongoro. El padre, con fracturas graves, y el hijo de 15 años, con lesiones en costillas, sobrevivieron. El accidente se debió a una curva cerrada y pendiente donde el chofer perdió control del vehículo. Los heridos fueron trasladados al hospital por guías y testigos.

Meliá y Banca March financian su cartera de tres hoteles en las islas
