Claves para alargar la temporada en destinos de sol y playa
🌊 International hotel brands and sustainable tourism projects are key to attracting new segments and extending vacation seasons in beach destinations. Mabrian's analysis of the eight municipalities in the AMT highlights the potential of the 5-star luxury segment, with 63% of high-impact travelers choosing sun and beach destinations. However, only 20% of global hotel offerings match this preference. The AMT aims to reduce its dependency on source markets, noting that 28% of accommodations in its destinations are managed by hotel chains, with 15% by international brands—nearly double the rest of Spain. With robust air connectivity, representing 38% of Spain's international direct seats in the past year, AMT destinations also enjoy a stable demand from European travelers, offering a chance for experience-based tourism, which has seen an 8% increase post-pandemic. Mabrian also identifies Hurghada (Egypt), Agadir (Morocco), Crete (Greece), Zagreb (Croatia), and Bari (Italy) as the top competitors for the first half of 2025.
