Los abogados de CEHAT en el caso Booking defienden que sí ha habido daño
🏨 Jaime Concheiro, socio director at CCS Abogados, outlines that Spanish hoteliers can join the European-led HOTREC project against Booking.com or opt for a faster Spanish initiative, with legal procedures starting as soon as May or June. Hoteliers have three options: join the European claim, pursue the Spanish initiative, or cede rights to a litigation fund after receiving €500 symbolically, potentially earning equal compensation upon case success. The claim filing fee is €300, and CCS Abogados would take a 30% cut from the indemnification. Already, 360 hotel businesses have registered, including a major chain, wary of sharing sensitive data or being the first large company to join. CCS plans to file the first lawsuits by early 2026, aiming for one per province with significant backing.
