🚨 The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) criticized London Luton Airport's advertisement for claiming its expansion would have no environmental impact, despite not factoring in aircraft emissions. ASA, enforcing truth in advertising, demanded the immediate withdrawal of the ad for breaking the advertising code of conduct. The airport's campaign promised an immediate halt to expansion if environmental limits were breached, but ASA found the claim unsubstantiated. Previously, ASA has also challenged Air France and Lufthansa ads for ambiguous environmental claims.
