📌 El Consell de Gobierno de la Comunidad Valenciana aprobó el nuevo "Decreto Ley de Simplificación", que se alinea con la Ley de Costas del Estado, estipulando que no se permitirá la construcción de hoteles a menos de 200 metros de la costa. El decreto, publicado en el DOGV, responde a las inquietudes de PSPV y Compromís sobre la protección del litoral y clarifica que los usos permitidos entre 100 y 200 metros de la costa serán de construcciones desmontables. El proyecto de Ley del Litoral, actualmente en trámite, también seguirá estas directrices, manteniendo la servidumbre de protección de la costa.

📊 On May 8, 2024, Spain's Official State Gazette (BOE) published new models for submitting individual and consolidated annual accounts to the Commercial Registry. Changes include gender diversity data and general data sheets on the number of women in governance. Listed companies and non-listed companies that do not file abbreviated annual accounts must report the volume and number of invoices paid within the deadlines of the Crea y Crece Law. The deadline for filing annual accounts in the Commercial Registry is July 31, after closing the annual accounts by March 31, legalizing accounting books by April 30, and approving accounts in the General Shareholders' Meeting by June 30.

🚩 Approximately 2,800 people demonstrated along the coast of Barcelona on Saturday, calling for tourism limits and denouncing overcrowding's negative impact, which raises housing prices and displaces residents. Organized by over 140 city entities, including neighborhood and environmental groups, housing rights movements, and unions, the protest demanded changes to the current tourism model. They urged immediate action towards a "tourism de-growth plan" to lessen the industry's economic influence and called for economic diversification.
