Francia: aparece un competidor privado de verdad para el TGV
🚂 France opened its rail network to competition, with Spain's Renfe and Italy's Trenitalia emerging as public rivals to SNCF. Private company Italo competes in Italy. Próxima, promoted by Rachel Picard and Tim Jackson, ordered 12 high-speed trains from Alstom, valued at €850 million, with deliveries starting in 2028. Próxima has €1 billion from investors, targeting routes like Hendaya-Paris via Bordeaux, where Renfe also shows interest, currently operating Barcelona-Paris via Lyon.
