Europa terminará por volar en aviones chinos low cost

  • Miguel Praga
  • 4 April 2025
🛩 Comac, a Chinese aircraft manufacturer, has delivered fewer than half a dozen C919 planes, comparable to the B737 or A320. Michael O'Leary of Ryanair, Europe's leading airline, hints at buying Chinese planes as a strategy to pressure Boeing for better production quality and Airbus for lower prices. The success of China's Comac in aviation is seen as inevitable, though it may take another decade to achieve a strong market position.

Comac aims to increase C919 production to 75 units in 2025, a 50% rise from the initial target of 50, and reach 200 aircraft by 2029.
