Dana en Baleares: Persiste la Dana | Trifulca entre Enaire y Ryanair
🌊 On August 15, a storm in Baleares caused stranded boats, train passenger evacuations, torrential overflows, and delays or cancellations of flights and trains. Red alert was activated in Mallorca and Menorca, while Ibiza and Formentera remained under orange risk. Es Mercadal in Menorca experienced nearly 200 liters per square meter of rainfall. In total, 184 incidents were reported: 135 in Mallorca, 22 in Ibiza, 20 in Formentera, and 7 in Menorca. Flights from Palma and Mahón airports faced significant delays. Ryanair criticized Enaire for excessive caution, which Enaire rejected citing safety priorities. On August 16, the yellow alert continues in Baleares with potential intense showers and storms.
