Sales begin with two blocks: September 23-24 for several regions including Andalucía and Madrid, and September 25-26 for others like Cataluña and the Canary Islands. Lot 1 (Coastal Peninsula) offers 443,887 places, Lot 2 (Insular Coast) has 230,039, and Lot 3 (Getaways and European Tourism) provides 212,343. Prices vary; for example, a 4-day trip costs €124.68, while a 10-day trip in the Balearics with transport is €331.49. Reservations require a deposit not exceeding 20%, completed 45 days pre-trip, and are available via accredited travel agencies or the official Turismo Social website.

🏫 UNESCO's 46th annual meeting in New Delhi from July 21 to 31 added 24 new World Heritage Sites, including Italy's ancient Via Apia. 🏖️ Ávoris (Turismo Social) aims to launch Imserso's tourism program sales in September for the 2024/2025 season, offering 886,269 spots for around four million accredited individuals. Priority is based on a points system that considers age, economic status, previous participation, and family size. Age points range from 1 for under 60s to a maximum of 20, while economic points vary from 50 for pensions at 517.90 euros to 0 above 2,100 euros. Previous participation can yield up to 175 points, and being part of a large family adds 5-10 points. A disability of 33% or higher is worth 10 points.

🏨 Hyatt Hotels Corporation plans to acquire Standard International, the parent company of The Standard and Bunkhouse Hotels, for $150 million with an additional $185 million as more hotels join the portfolio. The acquisition includes management, franchise, and license contracts for 21 hotels with approximately 2,000 rooms, such as The Standard London. Amar Lalvani, current Executive Chairman of Standard International, will lead a new lifestyle group based in New York. This move quintupled Hyatt's lifestyle rooms between 2017 and 2023.

🏕 Imserso's 2024-2025 season will start selling cultural circuit trips across Spain in September, with travel beginning in October. These trips, organized by Turismo Social, a subsidiary of Ávoris Corporación Empresarial, will feature destinations such as Andalusia, Aragon, Asturias, and others, including heritage sites like Alhambra, Mezquita-Catedral, and the Giralda, as well as the gastronomy of each region. Senior tourists can explore diverse landscapes, from the Pyrenees to the Costa del Sol, and engage in activities combining culture, relaxation, and socialization.

📘 A Request for Proposal (RFP) is both a document and a structured process for hotels to acquire new products or services, such as Property Management Systems (PMS). It enables hotels to collect and evaluate information from various suppliers, ensuring informed decision-making and negotiation. Detailed vendor responses to the RFP facilitate effective selection and implementation. Ávoris bid low in a contest impacting the Social Tourism sector. Current offers from Turismo Social are up to 1 euro per establishment category, against an average cost of 34 euros per person per night, compared to 22-25 euros from the previous season.

🏨 Marriott International expects to add over 9,000 rooms to its portfolio by end of the year through a long-term licensing agreement with Sonder Holdings, with approximately 1,500 more rooms anticipated later. The agreement foresees Sonder's mainly urban, apartment-style accommodations joining Marriott under the new "Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy" collection, aiming for a net room growth of 6% to 6.5% for the full year 2024. Members of Marriott Bonvoy should be able to earn and redeem points at about 200 Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy properties starting late this year. Marriott will receive a fee based on a percentage of Sonder's gross room revenue.

🏠 La Junta de Andalucía extendió hasta el 30 de septiembre el plazo para ofertar en la subasta de cinco inmuebles turísticos. Iniciales cerrados hace más de 10 años, teniendo un precio de salida total de casi 11,5 millones de euros. La apertura de sobres administrativos será el 8 de octubre, y las ofertas económicas el 22 de octubre. La subasta incluye villas como Cazalla de la Sierra y Fuenteheridos, y residencias como Pradollano, la más costosa con 8,7 millones de euros. La Junta ha gastado 108 millones de euros entre 2015 y 2022 por la explotación de estos establecimientos y ha ingresado 137 millones desde 2019 por inmuebles en desuso.
