El Gobierno paga más a los hoteles por inmigrantes que por los clientes del Imserso

The Spanish government invests more money on immigrant lodging than the Imserso tourists, providing €37 per day for immigrants compared to €26 for Imserso tourists. The government has spent at least €60 million on immigrant hotel accommodations. One-third of 52 hotels in the Valencian Community, initially part of the Imserso program for 2024/2025, have dropped out due to low compensation, with Ávoris, the winning bidder, facing contract issues. In Ibiza, local institutions supplement hotel payments to attract Imserso tourists, as governmental payouts don't cover average tourist expenses.
