El paradigma de Grupotel y Lopesan debutando en ubicaciones top de Madrid
🏨 Grupotel and Lopesan, two family-owned hotel chains from the Balearic and Canary Islands, have made significant acquisitions in Madrid, marking a consolidation and development milestone. Grupotel acquired Hotel Mayorazgo on Gran Vía, reaching three urban hotels with two others in Barcelona, and a total of 45 vacation establishments. Lopesan, via a partnership with Stoneweg, acquired Hotel Miguel Ángel on Paseo de la Castellana, marking its second urban segment move after an early 2024 purchase in Las Palmas. The two transactions, unofficially totaling nearly €300 million (Grupotel €60M, Miguel Ángel over €200M), were a highlight of Spain's urban hotel operations in 2024. Madrid and Barcelona each accounted for 18% of the total transactions, with Málaga at 5%, as per CBRE data.
