🏨 Meliá's hotel plant in Myanmar and Thailand remains operational despite thousands dying in a 7.7 magnitude earthquake last Friday. CEO Gabriel Escarrer confirms that Meliá's one establishment in Myanmar and five in Thailand, including locations in Rangún, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Phuket, and Pattaya, have passed rigorous inspections. 🏨 Meliá Hotels International expands with a luxury hotel in Estepona under The Meliá Collection, opening mid-2026 after renovations. The Bahia Estepona member of Meliá Collection will be the first luxury brand on the Andalusian coast, complementing two upcoming projects in Cádiz and Ronda.
