La matriz de Iberia y Vueling, pesimista con Airbus y Boeing

✈ IAG, the parent company of Iberia and Vueling, warns of potential delays in their fleet renewal and expansion plan due to supply chain issues affecting Airbus and Boeing. The industry faces risks from component and engine shortages impacting aircraft turnaround times. IAG plans to receive 20 new aircraft in 2024 and 27 in 2025, with a Boeing 787 delivery shifted from 2024 to 2025. In the first half of the year, IAG added nine new planes, including six narrow-body Airbus and three wide-body Boeing and Airbus planes, to its total fleet of 592 aircraft, with 159 owned and 433 leased as of June 30, up from 582 on December 31, 2023. IAG has 179 aircraft deliveries agreed upon and options for an additional 234.
