🏛 Spanish hotel chains have expanded globally, adding over 70,600 rooms from 2013 to 2024, totaling 279,228 rooms internationally, with Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Cuba as top countries for expansion. Meliá Hotels International leads with 14,252 rooms in Cuba. Eurostars Hotel Company grew from 4,527 to 8,670 rooms in the same period. H10 Hotels nearly doubled its rooms from 2,908 to 5,328. Conversely, Be Live Hotels decreased from 9,498 rooms at its peak in 2022 to 867 rooms by 2024 due to a management deal with Hyatt. Bluebay Hotels also reduced its presence after an agreement with W2M.
