✈️ Soltour connects 20+ Spanish cities with 12 destinations in Europe and the Caribbean this summer. The company introduces direct flights from Porto to the Region of Murcia and Almería, with operations from July 16 to September 11 to Murcia, and until September 19 to Almería. Each flight accommodates 100 passengers from Portugal weekly to Murcia and offers the same capacity twice a week to Almería. This move aims to support national tourism and provide unique travel packages through travel agencies.

🏨 In the first six months, real estate investment exceeded €5.5 billion, with the hotel sector accounting for 25% (over €1.3 billion) and ranking in the top 3 for investor interest. Hotel and residential assets were the only ones to appreciate during this period, according to CBRE data. CBRE predicts the total investment by the end of 2024 will reach €12.5 billion, with greater activity in the latter half of the year. Hotel assets appreciated on average by 4.25%, with holiday hotels up by 4.5% and urban hotels by 4%.

🏨 Catalonia Hotels & Resorts acquired two hotels from Hotel Investment Partners, one in Málaga, a 4-star with 105 rooms, and another in Barcelona, a 3-star with 70 rooms. The chain's expansion plan includes its first establishment in Jamaica, two upcoming openings in Spain, and another in Zanzibar by 2025. In 2023, the chain achieved excellent results, allowing for a confident expansion approach, with over 90% of properties owned. Upcoming projects include Catalonia Puerta del Mar in Málaga, opening late this year, Catalonia Plaza España in Madrid, and Catalonia Grand Zanzíbar All Suites & Spa, their first African hotel, set to open late next year.

✈ Ryanair's products will now be available in three offerings: "Flight-Only," "Holiday Package," and "Long Journeys." Agencies can tap into over 2,500 Ryanair routes without the need for Ryanair’s client verification process. Smytravel and Passengy websites allow agencies to use their own login credentials for reservations. Ryanair has also recently signed similar agreements with various companies, including Viajes El Corte Inglés, as reported by HOSTELTUR.

📍 Grupo Viajes El Corte Inglés enhances its partnership with Ryanair to sell flights through Smytravel using Passengy. Available for "Flight-Only," "Vacation Packages," and "Long Journeys" across Spain, Italy, and Portugal. Agencies can now book flights, seats, priority boarding, and luggage with ease and transparency without Ryanair's customer verification process. The collaboration follows a significant deal with Logitravel in March, aligning Ryanair's official prices and direct customer communication. Agencies can access Smytravel or Passengy with credentials or register if needed.
