🏡 Eurostars Hotel Company adds the 4-star Puerto Ibiza Hotel & Spa to its portfolio under a lease agreement starting March 3, rebranding it as Eurostars Puerto de Ibiza, enhancing Grupo Hotusa's presence in the Balearic Islands. Located near Dalt Vila's historic center, the hotel features 229 Mediterranean-style rooms and suites, an infinity pool on the rooftop, a spa with hydrotherapy circuit, personalized treatments, gym, event space, restaurant, and terrace bar. Grupo Hotusa's President Amancio López highlights the strategic move to bolster the company's presence in key tourist destinations. Eurostars first entered the Balearics in 2017 and now operates three establishments, with Eurostars Puerto de Ibiza being the latest addition.

🏖️ Cabot Hotels expands in Mallorca with the acquisition of a 4-star hotel, Cabot Cap de Mar Spa, opening in 2025 at Cala Bona, and a 10-year rental of eight tourist apartments, Cabot Sivella Apartments, in Puerto de Pollensa. The hotel offers 71 suites, an outdoor pool, spa, restaurant, and a rooftop terrace. CEO Guillem Cabot emphasizes comfort, sustainability, and proximity to the sea for guests. The apartments grant access to Cabot Pollensa Park SPA services.

🏖️ Hoteles Servigroup launched its first tourist apartment complex in Benidorm in 2025. The new offering includes 10 lodging units, a communal infinity pool, parking, and is located at Playa del Poniente. Additionally, in 2025, they will introduce water slides at the Marina Playa and Marina Mar hotels in Mojácar, Almería. Servigroup holds the 25th position in the Hosteltur Ranking of large hotel chains in Spain with 4,758 rooms across several locations.

🏨 Escampa Hotels reopens the three-star Hotel Hostalillo in Tamariu on February 7, increasing its portfolio to six properties, five on the Costa Brava and one in Barcelona. The group now has 330 rooms across various establishments, and with the Hotel Hostalillo is pioneering year-round tourism in Tamariu for sustainable growth and employment. The hotel boasts 71 rooms and sustainability certifications like the Biosphere seal.

🏨 Staycity, headquartered in Dublin with a total of 6,000 keys, aims to enter the Spanish market as part of its expansion strategy to reach 20,000 units in the next eight years. Founded in 2004, the aparthotel chain operates 35 establishments across France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and the UK, under two brands: Staycity and premium aparthotel brand Wilde, launched in 2017. Recent acquisitions include a 74.9% stake in Munich-based Grupo Felix, expanding into Leipzig, Dresden, and Vienna. Staycity opened its fourth Wilde brand establishment in September, the 106-room Wilde London Liverpool Street. In 2023, Staycity plans to open new aparthotels in Amsterdam and Cambridge, as well as Wilde properties in Lisbon and Porto, aiming for over 15,000 rooms by 2028. Investors include LaSalle, Union Investment, and Knight Frank Investment Management, with over €3 billion in Spanish hotel sector transactions reported last year.

🏩 Under Ramón Aragonés' leadership, NH Hotel Group became a leading international chain, quickly recovering post-pandemic to cancel a €500 million ICO loan in January 2023, being the first Spanish hotel company to do so. 🏨 Investment fund Stoneweg, celebrating its 10-year anniversary, plans to open the 5-star Grand Luxury Kimpton Los Monteros hotel in Marbella this coming February after extensive renovations. Expanding beyond Spain, Stoneweg, through Managing Director Hospitality Miguel Casas, seeks opportunities in Germany and Northern Europe due to market economic conditions and price corrections. With €450 million invested in seven Spanish hotel assets, the focus shifts to leisure segment hotels, particularly in Northern Europe, where corporate travel has not rebounded since 2019. 🏠 Limehome partnered with Grupo Clavijo to launch a new project, Limehome Suites Gran Vía in Logroño, expected to welcome guests in summer 2026, adding to their three existing establishments in La Rioja. The property will feature 18 apartments near Gran Vía, the historic center, and calle Laurel. Xulio Rey, Head of Expansion Strategy for Southern Europe at limehome, and Diego Rodríguez, CEO of Grupo Clavijo, emphasize the project's role in Logroño's transformation and local value creation. Limehome is also expanding in Álava and Navarra.
