Bernal aboga por una actitud más proactiva frente a los ataques al turismo
🏖 Arturo Bernal, Tourism Councilor for Andalusia, emphasized the importance of social sustainability in tourism. The Asamblea de la Mesa del Turismo highlighted Andalusia's cogovernance model, involving private consultants and stakeholders in decision-making processes. Data intelligence and collaboration with tech companies like Microsoft and Amazon are key to developing Europe's most advanced tourism management model. Andalusia's tourism sector celebrated a record-breaking year in 2024, with 36.2 million tourists and nearly €29 billion in revenue impacting 81 sectors. The new sustainable tourism law focuses on the rights and duties of tourists, workers, and residents, aiming to overcome seasonality issues and attract niche tourism markets.
