The Westminster London será el segundo hotel de Riu en Londres

🏨 Riu plans to expand in London with a second hotel, The Westminster London, currently by Curio Collection by Hilton, featuring 464 rooms, a private bowling alley reopened in 2021, three meeting rooms, and a restaurant. The acquisition is set to complete in January. The hotel is situated 20 minutes from Riu Plaza London Victoria. Riu has not commented on the transaction. Hilton’s Curio Collection operates over 180 hotels globally.

Apartur lleva al Ayuntamiento de Barcelona a los tribunales por subvencionar el veto a pisos turísticos

Apartur critica la gestión de recursos públicos, destacando que quejas sobre apartamentos turísticos legales son escasas. El ayuntamiento busca eliminar licencias turísticas amparado en el Decreto Ley 3/2023. Apartur planea acciones legales a nivel europeo.

SmartRental Group llevará a Grecia su marca de apartamentos de corta estancia

IHG se expande en Barcelona con el primer hotel Holiday Inn Express en Martorell

El empleo turístico sigue al alza en noviembre, ya representa el 13% del total de España

📈 En noviembre, el empleo turístico en España creció un 2,7%, alcanzando casi 2,8 millones de trabajadores. La hostelería sumó 34,308 nuevos afiliados, mientras que las agencias de viajes añadieron 1,193. El empleo asalariado en turismo aumentó un 3,1%, y el autónomo un 0,9%. Andalucía tuvo el mayor aumento absoluto, y la Comunidad Valenciana lideró en términos relativos con un 4,3% de crecimiento. El empleo turístico representa el 12,8% del total de afiliados en el país.
