De dónde viene el éxito turístico de Madrid… y lo que está por venir

  • Automatic
  • 15 July 2024
🏠 Madrid's success as a tourist destination is attributed to a balanced tourism demand, capacity for hosting large events, and excellent infrastructure and connectivity, as experts discussed at the “Madrid, destino de altura” conference organized by Elite Excellence-Federación Española del Lujo and Madrid Open Cities. Occupancy levels are expected to return to pre-pandemic rates by the end of the year, with a relatively low average price attracting investment. Key suggestions for further improvement include desestalization, with the Rosewood Villa Magna hotel reporting a 100% increase in August bookings compared to last year, enhanced security and cleanliness, the need for a large convention center, and the development of new tourist areas like Valdebebas to decentralize tourism. Madrid is also experiencing a gastronomic boom and is vying to surpass Miami as a leading destination for the Latin American market.
