Tras Niza, Cannes también limita los grandes cruceros
🛳 In 2026, Cannes will limit cruise docking to one ship over 3,000 passengers at a time, halving stopovers to 34, with a daily cap of 6,000 cruisers. By 2030, only ships with a maximum of 1,300 passengers will be allowed. Although the municipality lacks maritime authority, it leveraged port management contracts to enforce changes. Mayor David Lisnard welcomes smaller, eco-friendly ships. Cruise industry leaders oppose these restrictions, citing global tourism benefits.
