Viajes El Corte Inglés previously collaborated with Ryanair, using this strategy to enhance their European travel offerings. Despite lacking its own airline, the group effectively adapts through strategic alliances, competing with rivals Ávoris and W2M.

✈ Air China, China Eastern, and China Southern protested against the U.S. government's decision to restrict landing rights if they fly over Russia. This action stems from a breach in equal competition conditions due to the American boycott of Russia. The restriction leads to longer flights and higher fares for Chinese airlines. While the U.S. Department of Transport reviews complaints, European airlines also express concerns about competition but have not restricted routes.

🌍 Mundosenior, part of Ávoris, quickly targets seniors who missed out on Imserso's 879,213 travel slots, which sold out swiftly. They offer new, budget-friendly travel programs, particularly from Madrid to Benidorm (€335 for 8 days full board) and a special New Year package to Calpe (€530 for 7 nights full board). Additional travel options include coastal, Balearic, European capitals, and long-distance destinations, plus cruises.

Madrid-Bucharest runs June 3 to September 30, Wednesdays and Sundays; Tivat operates July 18 to September 15, Tuesdays and Saturdays. Seasonal routes return to Dubrovnik (14 weekly flights), Zagreb (9), Split (9), Sicily, Sardinia, Greece, and other destinations. Milan rises to 44 weekly flights, Athens to 29 in August, and Nice at 24 weekly. Part of “Plan de Vuelo 2030.”

🏖 Tourmundial, in October 2025, launched customizable travel packages including Disneyland Paris tickets. These packages offer accommodation, transport, and park access, with options for extra services like transfers and excursions in Paris. Designed for families, couples, and individuals, the packages ensure flexibility and value. Tourmundial has increased hotel availability near Disneyland and provides specialized advice for tailored stays, aiming for unforgettable experiences.

🛫 Ryanair plans to cut 800,000 seats across 24 routes from Berlin, Hamburg, and Memmingen airports in Germany due to high fees. This follows their withdrawal from Dortmund, Dresden, and Leipzig. Ryanair spokesperson Dara Brady criticized the costs and urged Transport Minister Patrick Schneider to revise the air travel system. Ryanair’s CEO, Michael O’Leary, warned of shifting capacity to other European countries if Germany doesn't lower its taxes. Germany raised the air travel tax in May 2024.
