✈ Air India, part of the Tata Group, in 2023, India; negotiating to acquire 300 more aircraft, including 100 wide-body planes, due to booming aviation demand. Already ordered 470 planes, mainly from Airbus. IndiGo, the rival, has ordered 500 Airbus aircraft. By 2025, India will open 100 new airports. Air India's new orders will be delivered in three to four years. Airbus has not commented on these negotiations.

✈️ Iberia will operate a record 23 weekly flights between Madrid and Buenos Aires during Europe's summer months (June-August 2025). The airline will offer up to four flights on Tuesdays and Sundays. 🛫 Ryanair plans to cut 800,000 seats across 24 routes from Berlin, Hamburg, and Memmingen airports in Germany due to high fees. This follows their withdrawal from Dortmund, Dresden, and Leipzig. Ryanair spokesperson Dara Brady criticized the costs and urged Transport Minister Patrick Schneider to revise the air travel system. Ryanair’s CEO, Michael O’Leary, warned of shifting capacity to other European countries if Germany doesn't lower its taxes. Germany raised the air travel tax in May 2024.

💰 Iberojet, in 2024, netted a profit of €692,000 after years of financial losses since the pandemic. Business volume grew from €273.5 million to €285.2 million. However, they still face a net deficit of €61.8 million, slightly down from 2023's €64.5 million.
