🏖 Royal Caribbean is innovating by purchasing private islands and beaches for cruise tourists. Already operating in the Bahamas, plans are underway in Haiti, Chile, Mexico, Vanuatu, and Santorini, Greece by 2026. Santorini, with 15,000 residents, will host a private beach. The cruise line brought over 250,000 tourists to the island last year and plans 97 stops in 2026 with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Despite local opposition, the project is confirmed.

✈ Binter, starting November 1st, will increase flights and seats to La Palma and Fuerteventura following extended airport hours till 23:00. The first flights to Gran Canaria and Tenerife Norte will depart at 07:00, with last connections at 21:15 and 22:00. Return flights leave Gran Canaria at 21:55 and Tenerife at 22:15. La Palma sees a 14% seat increase and 41% connectivity boost with 228 weekly routes, while Fuerteventura's increases are 4% and 11% with 209 connections.

✈️ Tim Clark, president of Emirates, accuses U.S. airlines and Star Alliance members of stalling Airbus A380 development to weaken Emirates, the primary A380 advocate. American Airlines, United, and Delta allegedly avoided A380 to hinder Emirates’ competitive edge. Airbus ceased A380 production in 2021 due to low demand, but Emirates still operates about 120 units. Despite high operational costs and market preference for smaller, efficient planes like A321XLR, Emirates plans to use the A380 until 2040.
