🔥 13 March, Denver/Colorado Springs: An American Airlines Boeing 737, registration N885NN, suffered an engine fire shortly after takeoff. The right engine caught fire due to maintenance errors, including a fractured rotor blade, loose fuel connection, and blocked drainage. The plane landed in Denver after takeoff from Colorado Springs, with difficulties in evacuation due to a jammed door. The NTSB is investigating. The aircraft remains grounded.
