🗺 Ávoris prepares for the 2025/2026 Imserso tourism program with 327 hotels included. Who? Ávoris. When? 2025/2026. Where? Spain's peninsular coast and interior. What? ✈️ Ryanair, on September 4th, expanded its cabin baggage dimensions by installing larger measuring devices across 235 European airports. The new dimensions of 40 x 30 x 20 cm are 30% larger than the EU standard of 40 x 30 x 15 cm. Passengers can carry one free piece of hand luggage fitting under the seat; additional luggage requires purchasing Priority Boarding.

💸 Viajes El Corte Inglés led 2024 with a net profit of €38.9M, more than doubling 2023’s €18.4M, and sales of €1,017.4M (+13.1%). Nautalia earned €5.3M in 2024, with sales of €202.9M (+6.9%). Halcón Viajes, with €303M in sales, saw a net profit of €4.7M, down from €8.3M in 2023. B travel, with €560.6M in sales, reported a net profit of €2.2M, a drop from €8.3M in 2023.

🏠 Ávoris has contracted 244 hotels to manage Lot 1 (Coastal Areas Tourism) and Lot 3 (Escape Tourism and European Origin) for the 2025-2026 Imserso travel season. Hosteltur obtained the exclusive hotel list, which has been approved by the Administration for future publication on the Turismo Social website.

Ryanair's provocative style, rooted in its early cost-saving strategies, still defines its identity. 🚂 Renfe faces an urgent need for new AVE trains due to aging fleets. The series 100 trains have been in service since 1992, nearing their 40-year lifespan, despite renewals in 2010. New series 107 Avril trains face delivery delays. High-speed network expansions by 2027 and 2030, including Almería and the Mediterranean Corridor, require more trains. Internal demand in cities like Madrid and Barcelona adds pressure. New train tenders, planned for 2026, won't be operational until 2031.

📅 Mundiplan and Ávoris, the managers of Imserso subsidized trips, are ready to start sales by mid-September, pending administrative approval. Mundiplan relaunched Mundicolor for trips to the Balearic and Canary Islands, while Ávoris manages peninsular and getaway trips. A flat rate of €50 for low-income pensions and €100 supplements for additional trips or high-season departures have caused dissatisfaction among retirees and travel agencies, as noted by Pedro Fiol from Aviba.

🛩 Ryanair, in August 2024, transported 21 million passengers, averaging 677,000 daily, with 114,000 flights and a 96% seat occupancy. This is a 2% increase from last August.
