🚂 Renfe faces an urgent need for new AVE trains due to aging fleets. The series 100 trains have been in service since 1992, nearing their 40-year lifespan, despite renewals in 2010. New series 107 Avril trains face delivery delays. High-speed network expansions by 2027 and 2030, including Almería and the Mediterranean Corridor, require more trains. Internal demand in cities like Madrid and Barcelona adds pressure. New train tenders, planned for 2026, won't be operational until 2031.

✈ Ryanair, in winter 2025, will cancel all flights to Tenerife Norte. The decision affects routes to Alicante, Barcelona, Madrid, Palma, Sevilla, and Valencia, and follows the closure of its Santiago base due to rising Aena airport fees. ✈️ Carlos Torres, co-founder of Air Europa, passed away after dedicating his life to aviation. In the 1980s, he was pivotal alongside Tomás Cano in launching the airline. Torres helped with hiring and training pilots for Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 757-200. Air Europa began operations in 1986, launched by six young entrepreneurs under the British ILG, before later coming under Juan José Hidalgo following ILG's collapse.

🛫 Mundiplan, a tour operator for travelers over 55, launches its 2025-2026 travel season, enhancing its partnership with W2M. Who? Senior tourists. When? Late September onwards. Where?
