📅 Iberia will start flying its first A321XLR between Madrid and Boston on November 14, 2024, and to Washington DC from January 15, 2025, six times a week. The aircraft, part of an eight-plane Airbus order by IAG, can cover distances up to 8,000 kilometers and has 182 seats in business and economy class. The first unit is expected after summer, with more to follow, featuring amenities like spacious overhead bins and modern cabin lighting.

Emphasizing sustainability, it uses materials like oak wood, esparto, and ceramic, and predominantly Mediterranean native plant species for landscaping. Estimar Hotels plans to open Estimar Benicasim in Castellón in 2025.

✈ Salerno-Costa de Amalfi Airport opened in Campania, southern Italy, with three airlines operating, including Volotea, Easyjet, and Ryanair. Inaugurated by Infrastructure and Transport Minister Mateo Salvini, the airport welcomed its first commercial flight from Milan Malpensa. The airport connects Salerno, Sorrento Peninsula's southern coast, and Basilicata region. Integrated with Naples Capodichino Airport's management system, the project took 20 years from inception to launch.

The Parador will be the 98th in the network and aims to boost tourism, economy, and employment.
