🏨 Bluesea, starting September 1st, takes over operations and marketing of Bluese Aloe Corralejo Hotel, Fuerteventura, through an agreement with O7Hotels by World2Meet. The hotel, located near Dunas de Corralejo Natural Park and 10 minutes from the beach, boasts 181 apartments, seven pools, a spa, two buffet restaurants, a bar-cafeteria, and a gym. This move enhances Bluesea's presence in the Canary Islands and commitment to offering comprehensive vacation experiences.

🏨 Bluesea Hotels, from September 1, 2023, manages the Bluesea Aloe Corralejo in Fuerteventura, in partnership with O7 Hotels. Located by the Dunas de Corralejo Natural Park, it offers 181 apartments suitable for families. The 3-key establishment features seven pools, a spa, two buffet restaurants, and more. Previously under Labranda Hotels & Resorts, O7 Hotels took over management in October 2023. Bluesea CEO Sebastiá Catalá highlighted this expansion in Fuerteventura.

🏨 Meliá São João da Madeira, owned by Hoti Hoteis, is a historic hotel in Portugal featuring 93 rooms. Located near Porto, it blends a 19th-century palace with modern design. The hotel offers amenities including outdoor and indoor pools, a spa, gym, meeting rooms, and event spaces. Guests can enjoy Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisine at Restaurante Conde and drinks at Bar Chapelaria.

🏨 En 2009, Aloe Hotels, una cadena canaria, se expandió internacionalmente con el Hotel Aloe Emira Nuakchott en Mauritania, África. Este nuevo hotel de 4 estrellas en Nuakchott tiene 32 habitaciones, un restaurante, heladería, y salas para eventos. Aloe Hotels, ubicada en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, también opera el Hotel Aloe Canteras en Gran Canaria. La cadena planea añadir un rooftop y crear un Hotel Escuela para formación del personal.

🏨 ME Madrid cerró en agosto 2023 tras más de 20 años en Plaza de Santa Ana. Adquirido por el fondo soberano de Abu Dabi, será renovado por 25 millones de euros y reabrirá como The Hoxton bajo Accor en 2024. Se liquidará el mobiliario del 5 al 7 de septiembre. Meliá lanzará Zel Madrid en 2026 y mantiene hoteles como Palacio de los Duques y INNSiDE Gran Vía, reafirmando su compromiso con Madrid.

📍 The Hoxton will launch in Madrid, taking over the iconic ME Reina Victoria hotel, which ceased operations on August 15, 2023. Located in Plaza de Santa Ana, this will be The Hoxton’s second hotel in Spain, following their Barcelona opening in 2022. The transformation will involve several months of renovation. The hotel is part of a 17-hotel portfolio acquired by ADIA from Equity Inmuebles, with Accor aiming to boost its lifestyle segment in the capital.

🎪 Palladium Hotel Group is investing €90 million in three luxury projects in Ibiza: The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel, Ibiza Gallery, and The Site Hotel Ibiza. The Site Hotel, opening in summer 2026, will feature 461 rooms, including suites, three pools, and a beach club. Ibiza Gallery, a 4,800 m² space, opened this summer with a €15 million investment, featuring 20 high-end boutiques and the Cardi Gallery for art exhibitions. These projects aim to boost Playa d'en Bossa's luxury tourism.

🏨 Meliá Hotels International ends its operation of ME Madrid in Plaza Santa Ana this August, concluding over 20 years with ME by Meliá. ME Madrid was the first in Spain, expanding later to 10 locations, including recent openings in Malta and Lisbon. Six new hotels are planned for Spain, Mexico, China, and Albania. ME by Meliá aims to return to Madrid soon. Meanwhile, Zel Madrid, a venture with Rafa Nadal, will open on Gran Vía next year.

🏨 Clipper de Lloret de Mar, acquired by Fergus Group in 2024, will undergo a transformation from a 2-star to a 4-star hotel by 2026, with an investment of over €13 million by the Gallart family. The renovation will reduce its 367 rooms, add a swimming pool, solarium, and international dining options. The project aims to attract diverse guests and enhance Lloret de Mar's tourism, echoing Fergus Group's strategy of quality over quantity for sustainable tourism development.

🏖 W Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy, opened its first all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, in collaboration with Mac Hotels and Grupo Puntacana. The W Punta Cana features 340 rooms, including 46 swim-up suites, 12 restaurants and bars, and an AWAY Spa. With a 400-meter beach and 80-meter infinity pool, it marks W Hotels' expansion into all-inclusive adult resorts. New openings are planned in Mexico for 2028 and 2029.
