Casual sigue creciendo en Europa con su primer hotel en Grecia

🏡 Casual Hoteles opens its first establishment in Greece, Casual Kubic Athens, as part of its 2025 expansion plan in Europe. After launching a hotel in Milan in February, the company now surpasses 1,000 rooms and approaches its goal of 30 hotels. The Athens hotel is its largest yet with 112 rooms, featuring a buffet breakfast, café, gym, massage room, and roof solarium with panoramic city views, including the Parthenon. The chain plans to theme the hotel with cubist artistic elements, reflecting Greek art and architecture from the 1920s and 30s. With the recent opening of Casual Bahía Ibiza, the brand now operates 27 establishments with 1,026 rooms across 16 destinations in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece.

Jet2 sobre estacionalidad en el Mediterráneo: “Necesitan crear producto

🛫 At the Tourism Seasonality Summit in Sevilla, Janice Mather from Jet2 and Jet2Holidays emphasized the importance of a year-round destination plan involving all stakeholders, offering a developed product. Jet2 operates over 500 routes, collaborating with more than 200 tourism organizations and 84 airports. Successful examples include Mallorca, emerging as a major cycling destination, and initiatives in Pafos, Cyprus, with indoor pools to attract winter tourism. Challenges in aligning tourism and transport sectors were discussed, along with the need for destinations to have an integrated approach and be aligned with the local ecosystem. Barcelona's success in maintaining diverse political interests was highlighted, and Sevilla's potential for expanding its influence area was mentioned. Post-Covid, opportunities for a new type of traveler who can work from the destination were considered for year-round travel.

Semana Santa: las reservas crecen hasta un 47% priorizando el sol y playa

The average length of stay increased slightly by 2%, while the booking lead time went up, especially in Mallorca and the coast of Barcelona, both by 28%.

La nueva edición del programa de formación Anfitriones ya está en marcha
