Europe will account for 26.4% of the global business travel expenditure, reaching €1.36 trillion, despite still being slightly below 2019 levels. Countries like Spain, Greece, Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland have surpassed pre-pandemic spending levels. The global business travel spend is expected to hit $1.48 trillion by the end of 2024, exceeding the 2019 record of $1.43 trillion. In a GBTA survey, 22% of European business travelers prioritize reducing carbon emissions, higher than the 16% global average.

Noviembre trae desaceleración y caídas en las reservas de hotel en España

📆 En España, durante la semana del 11 al 17 de noviembre, las reservas hoteleras registraron descensos anuales en seis comunidades autónomas: Andalucía (-4.86%), Canarias (-3.51%), Comunidad de Madrid (-2.05%), Comunidad Valenciana (-4.08%), Castilla y León (-23.19%), y Aragón (-7.05%). A pesar de esto, las reservas anticipadas (más de 90 días de antelación) se mantuvieron altas, representando el 23.7% del total, manteniéndose así por encima del 20% desde finales de septiembre. Las variaciones en reservas también incluyen aumentos en regiones como Cataluña (+10.43%) y Baleares (+21.16%).
