🏡 Mercer Hoteles to open a 5-star Grand Luxe hotel in Madrid's Jerónimos neighborhood in fall, owned by Alting Grupo Inmobiliario, with a €10 million investment. The building at Ruiz de Alarcón, 5, dating from 1905 and designed by Enrique María Repullés y Vargas, will be converted from offices to a hotel with completion expected in July 2025. The Mercer Hotel Madrid will feature 61 rooms and suites, a high-end restaurant, cocktail bar, spa, 24-hour gym, event rooms, and an exclusive rooftop with a pool.

📈 Ávoris closed 2024 with positive EBITDA in all divisions, striving for €80 million EBITDA in 2025, up from over €46 million in 2024, with a sales budget of €4.8 billion. Early bookings have improved with the campaign launch in February 2024, and on the day Fitur began in 2025, indicating strong customer response. The integration of DIT Gestión, set for April 1, will strengthen Ávoris, which, following the Globalia merger, operates over 1,000 agencies without plans for closures. With a focus on enhancing the distribution of their manufactured products and supporting over 9,000 mostly independent agencies in Spain, Ávoris aims for a more dynamic and unified sector, including new business lines like Welcomefly consolidators and Welcometickets, and further expansion such as Welcometransfer. The group boasts six long-haul aircraft, with plans to add another, and operates Iberojet, contributing to the flexibility of their travel operations.
