El turismo marinero y el pescaturismo se expanden en las costas españolas

🌊 Pescaturismo and marine tourism are on the rise in Spain, attracting more businesses and travelers. Balfegó has offered the Tuna Tour in L'Ametlla de Mar since 2012. In 2023, Pescaturismo platform recorded 5,000 excursions and 2,000 tourists across the coast. Galicia leads in activity, while Basque Country projects gain strength with regional government support. Andalusia's season started in May, and in Burela, tourists can attend bonito auctions. Mainly foreign tourists from the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Scandinavia are involved, with increased interest from Spanish families.

Las 20 ciudades europeas con más pernoctaciones en pisos turísticos

The map includes 655 destinations, 2,333 art and culture spots, 510 museums, 1,731 monuments, 92 parks and gardens, 180 natural spaces, 3,539 beaches, and various other points of interest and experiences. Additionally, users can book 137 cultural activities, 322 nature experiences, 207 wine and gastronomy experiences, and other activities online. Turespaña plans to integrate artificial intelligence into Spain.info to further assist tourists, with potential new tools being unveiled at the Turespaña Convention in Tenerife from October 1-3, 2024.

La oferta hotelera en España se hace más fuerte: 800 proyectos en marcha

🏨 Spain's hotel investment reached over €4.2 billion in 2023, with €1.535 billion invested in the first half of the year, marking an 18% growth. EY reports that Spain will see at least 800 new hotel establishments with over 76,800 rooms in the upcoming years, with 47% opening throughout 2024. Of the total hotel sector investment, EY was involved in €562 million worth of transactions, including the sale of Six Senses and the purchase of Hotel Presidente in Ibiza with a €40 million investment for repositioning to a 5-star hotel, expected to open in 2025. In 2024 alone, there are at least 376 hotel openings, with Andalusia, the Valencian Community, and Catalonia leading in new establishments. A majority of these openings are 4-star hotels (165), followed by 3-star (52), 5-star (45), and luxury hotels (15), with 54 hotels yet to be classified. Looking ahead to 2025 and beyond, there are 275 planned openings for 2025, 118 for 2026, 15 for 2027, and 16 for 2028 and later, with a focus again on 4-star (157) and luxury hotels (99), and 116 remaining unclassified.

Los destinos de playa más baratos, dentro y fuera de España

🏖 eBooking.com reports that summer 2024 beach destinations in Spain will cost 7.3% more than last year, averaging €195 per night, while international coastal cities average €184, up 18.4% from €155 in 2023. Cheapest beach cities include Rio de Janeiro (€109), Naples (€132), and Istanbul (€137). The most expensive in Spain are Ibiza (€317), Marbella (€277), and Palma de Mallorca (€276). Prices in Punta Cana, Eilat, and Albufeira are rising by 47.2%, 27.1%, and 19.1%, respectively.
